2010 Camp Schedule
Camp Schedule for Summer 2010
All projects are NEW to this summer’s campers. No lessons from last summer will be repeated. If you are currently taking private lessons with Deborah, your experience in the summer program will be new lessons.
Camp is held in Deborah Cavenaugh’s NEW Studio, 4113-E Oleander, in Anderson Square, Wilmington, North Carolina. (PLEASE NOTE that Deborah will be in her current studio at 5028 Wrightsville Avenue through May 22.)
Each Camp is one-week long, running Monday through Friday from 9-11:30 am. Classes are small and taught by Deborah. All supplies plus snacks are included. Late pick up is available upon request.
Students aged 9 and up with any level of artistic ability are eligible. Students under age 9 are accepted on a case-by-case review. Contact Deborah at 910-297-5383 to discuss if you have a younger artist.

ART AND THE BEACH!

In the ART AND THE BEACH! camp we will focus on elements and scenes found down by the sea. Students will learn to draw and then paint studies of individual subjects culminating in a larger painting of a beach scene. It will be fun and familiar with room for challenging new lessons as well as for expression of their own unique ideas and memories. And, each camper will be able to create a pendant from shells to add to the fun and memories of the week.

ART AND THE JUNGLE!

tigers and elephants…monkeys and giraffes…exotic foliage and birds…
In the ART AND THE JUNGLE!! camp we will focus on elements and scenes found in the jungle. Students will learn to draw and then paint studies of individual subjects culminating in a larger painting of a jungle scene. It will be fun and familiar with room for challenging new lessons as well as for expression of their own unique ideas and memories. And, each camper will be able to create a pendant from the colors of the jungle to add to the fun and memories of the week.

In the ART AND THE GARDEN! camp we will focus on elements and scenes found in the garden. Students will learn to draw and then paint studies of individual subjects culminating in a larger painting of a garden scene. It will be fun and familiar with room for challenging new lessons as well as for expression of their own unique ideas and memories. And, each camper will be able to create a pendant in colors of the garden to add to the fun and memories of the week.

It will be fun and familiar with room for challenging new lessons as well as for expression of their own unique ideas and memories. And, each camper will be able to create a pendant based around a woodland treasure to add to the fun and memories.
